“I think this project is fantastic and very helpful to providers who really want to connect to all of their patients.” - AHCCP Participant
Health providers and teens don’t always speak the same language.
Planned Parenthood’s Adolescent Health Care Communication Project helps bridge the communication gap by supporting engagement and trust between medical professionals and their teen patients, especially around sexual and reproductive health issues.
This innovative youth-led training helps current and future health care providers interact and communicate with young people around sexual health issues. Youth trainers offer accurate, authentic advice and insight about concerns and preferences related to sexual and reproductive health care.
