Why Give

Planned Parenthood Southwest Ohio is 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization community supported reproductive health care provider. Our mission is to strengthen the communities in Greater Dayton, Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky by preventing unintended pregnancy and empowering individuals with the knowledge, opportunity and freedom to make private decisions about reproductive health.

Annual Fund

The Annual Fund is the cornerstone of all fundraising at Planned Parenthood Southwest Ohio, the foundation upon which other fundraising efforts rest. The Annual Fund at Planned Parenthood Southwest Ohio generates revenue that supports:

• Comprehensive continuum of vital reproductive health services to all patients
• Medically Accurate Sexuality Education for students and professionals to help them make responsible and healthy choices
• Advocacy Campaigns to ensure our reproductive rights are protected
• General Operating Budget, Clinic Maintenance, Medical Supplies, etc.

Planned Parenthood Southwest Ohio covers 23 counties within Southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky. Over 25,000 women, men, teens and families benefit from our necessary care and education on a yearly basis; 50% of our patients are at or near the poverty level. We could not do what we do without your generous support.

Corporate Matching Gifts - Many corporations offer matching gift programs that can double the value of your gift to Planned Parenthood Southwest Ohio. Whats more, many employers will also match contributions of spouses, retirees and trustees. Please contact your Human Resource or Business office for eligibility and matching gift forms.

Workplace Giving Campaigns- Planned Parenthood Southwest Ohio participates in the workplace giving campaigns of Community Shares of Greater Cincinnati. If your workplace conducts their own giving campaigns and Planned Parenthood Southwest Ohio fits in their guidelines, please list Planned Parenthood Southwest Ohio as a beneficiary.

Planned Giving - Giving through your Will or Revocable Living Trust
You can arrange a bequest gift of a specific amount, a percentage, or all or part of the residuum of your estate. If you would like to make such a gift to Planned Parenthood Southwest Ohio, your attorney may wish to include language similar to the following:

"I give, devise, and bequeath to Planned Parenthood Southwest Ohio Region, 2314 Auburn Avenue, Cincinnati, in the State of Ohio, (dollar amount, percentage, or __ percent of the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate), to be used for its general purposes."
