Anna V. Eskamani Honored by Women’s Resource Center and Accepted to Connect Florida
For Immediate Release: Aug. 9, 2016
Orlando, FL -- Orlando native and Planned Parenthood Senior Director Anna V. Eskamani has recently received two distinct honors. One from the Central Florida Women’s Resource Center and the other from Connect Florida.
The Central Florida Women’s Resource Center has been empowering women since 1984 through identifying, impacting and supporting women's social, educational, health, political, economic, spiritual and artistic issues. This year the organization has selected Eskamani as one of their 2016 "Outstanding Women" to be honored at their annual Awards Summit in September.
Created in 2007, Connect Florida is considered one of the premier statewide institutes for Florida professionals between 25 and 40 years old. The Statewide Leadership Institute is reflective of Leadership Florida’s annual program, and is designed to enhance leadership skills, provide practical experience in community service, and give participants a chance to interact with statewide leaders. Eskamani has been accepted to Class VII of Connect Florida.
Below is a statement from Eskamani on these two recognitions:
“It is a humbling experience to be recognized by the Central Florida Women’s Resource Center and to be accepted into Class VII of Connect Florida. Both organizations include past honorees and graduates that I deeply admire and I am thrilled to be in their company. Here’s to building collective power in Central Florida and beyond.”
