Planned Parenthood of Southern New England holds the annual Ocean State CHOICE Affair at the Rhode Island Historical Society’s Aldrich House in Providence, Rhode Island
All proceeds from Ocean State CHOICE Affair go directly to care for PPSNE patients who receive high quality health care, regardless of their ability to pay. Annually, PPSNE serves close to 70,000 men, women and teens, providing a range of critical, life-saving health care services, including breast cancer screenings, Pap tests, birth control, and STD/STI testing and treatment.
Planned Parenthood of Southern New England (PPSNE) is one of the region’s largest providers of family planning and reproductive health care services. Since 1923, PPSNE has evolved into an organization with 19 health centers in Connecticut and Rhode Island, delivering care to nearly 70,000 patients annually, and 90 percent of the services provided are preventive. For 95 years, Planned Parenthood Federation of America has provided health care and family planning services to women and men across the country. One in five American women has received care from a Planned Parenthood health center during her lifetime, and last year three million patients came to one of our more than 800 health centers.
