Gifts of stock or other securities offer significant tax advantages and are easy to make.

Securities can be gifted via electronic transfer or by physically mailing the paper certificate to PPSNE. In both cases, you will need to contact your broker to initiate the transfer.

Electronic Transfer

If you wish to make a gift of stock to PPSNE, please give your financial advisor the following information:

Merrill Lynch
DTC: 8862
Account Number: 808-03159
Account Title: Planned Parenthood of Southern New England, Inc.
Tax ID Number: 06-0263565

Prior to any stock transfer, it is important you or your broker notify our development office of your intent to make a gift, so you are correctly credited and promptly acknowledged for your gift. We do not receive the name of the donor with the transfer of stock into our account.

To notify us of your stock gift, please contact Tiffany Tudder at 203-836.9222 or by email at [email protected]

Physical Delivery

If you hold the security’s paper certificate, you may mail it to PPSNE without endorsement to:

Planned Parenthood of Southern New England
Attn: Development Department
345 Whitney Avenue
New Haven, CT 06511

In a separate envelope, please mail a signed stock power form and a letter stating your intention to make a gift of the security to Planned Parenthood of Southern New England. You can obtain a stock power form from your bank or broker. Please sign the stock power exactly as your name appears on the stock certificate.

If you have any questions about giving stock or other securities, call the Development Office at (203) 752-2814 or send us an email at [email protected].
