The Building Futures Campaign, the most ambitious and comprehensive campaign in our history, will raise $22 million to position PPSNE as a highly-visible and trusted provider of reproductive health care and sexuality education in southern New England.

Nearly 70,000 women, men, and teens rely on our 18 health centers for expert health care. With more than two-thirds of patients uninsured or on Medicaid, PPSNE remains a major safety-net provider by providing millions in subsidized care. We face unprecedented opportunity.

While teen pregnancy has declined, overall unintended pregnancies remain high. More than half of CT and RI pregnancies are unintended – we can do better. Investing in prevention and sexuality education is the only proven way to address unintended pregnancies and create pathways to opportunity for women and their families. We have a vision that will change the world – and we can accomplish that with your support.

THE CAMPAIGN PRIORITIES

The Building Futures Campaign is built around three key priorities, reflecting the breadth of our mission and the depth of our commitment to making a difference.

Transform our health centers - $14.5 million
Redesign and renovate health centers in seven major metropolitan areas including Bridgeport, Enfield, Manchester, North Hartford, Providence, Stamford and West Hartford. Each health center will feature state-of-the-art spaces, including additional exam rooms, updated equipment, and spacious and private waiting rooms.

Grow education programs to better engage youth - $5 million
Expand STARS (Students Teaching About Responsible Sexuality), our award-winning teen peer education program, grow social media outreach, and expand our FACTS marketing campaign to reach more young people and increase engagement with Black-African American and Latinx communities.

Expand health care delivery and access - $2.5 million
Streamline patient flow through a customized delivery model, roll-out expanded primary care services, and launch mobile-friendly online health services, like online scheduling – all aimed at decreasing wait times, cutting costs and improving patient experience.

THE FUTURE IS BRIGHT

We’ve raised over $18 million toward our $22 million goal, and this is just the beginning. You can support the nearly 70,000 patients who seek our services each year and help shape a healthier, stronger and more empowered generation.
