Media & Government Relations Specialist:
Make a difference in people’s lives! Join Planned Parenthood Southeastern Pennsylvania (PPSP) as a Media and Government Relations Specialist. As part of the External Affairs team, the Media and Government Relations Specialist has significant responsibility related to our media and advocacy communications; our participation in coalitions; and the development and implementation of strategies, projects and advocacy concerning reproductive rights, family planning, abortion, sexuality education and related issues.
The successful candidate will have social media and internet skills; experience in media relations; working knowledge of state and federal legislative process and familiarity with state and Philadelphia region political arenas. Also required are excellent skills in written and oral communication, organization, and customer service; ability and willingness to manage multiple priorities and tasks, take initiative, and work both independently and as a team member. Must be agreeable to a flexible work schedule that includes some evening and weekend commitments. Must be willing to travel and have access to a car.
Bachelor’s degree plus two to three years of relevant profession experience required.
This is a part-time, benefits-eligible, 31.5 hour/week position. Health Center Assistant

Major Gifts Coordinator (Fundraising):
Are you passionate about protecting access to high-quality health care services and information for women, men and teens? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment? If so, consider joining our team as a Major Gifts Coordinator, with high-level responsibilities for major donor cultivation, solicitation and stewardship, database management, and special events. This is a part-time (28 hours/week) contract position, expected to continue for at least one year.
You must have a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years’ experience in fundraising; highly-developed skills in communication, customer service, organization and time/task management; and proficiency in Microsoft office applications and one or more fundraising databases.
Planned Parenthood Southeastern Pennsylvania (PPSP) is the local affiliate of the country’s leading sexual and reproductive health care advocate and provider. PPSP operates 10 health centers throughout Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties and provides education and advocacy services throughout our service area.

Clinician (Nurse Practitioner):
The Clinician will function in an expanded role in the provision of reproductive health care for women and men. Job duties include, under written Standing Orders of the Medical Director, performing and supervising medical aspects of patient care in contraceptive center in accordance with PPSP Standing Orders and policies and procedures.
Candidates must be licensed or certified as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Pennsylvania with training in a recognized program or its equivalent; must have experience in reproductive health care including STD’s, contraception, pregnancy sizing and options, counseling experience is essential, and experience in male examination is desirable. Malpractice coverage assumed by clinician if individual coverage required by the State. Our available full-time, part-time, floater, and on-call (per diem or as needed) positions are listed below by location:
- Upper Darby Health Center, Delaware County – part-time, 13.5 hour/week position

Our capacity to host students is limited by our available staff and our patients' needs. At this time, Planned Parenthood Southeastern Pennsylvania provides clinical placements for medical residents and medical fellows only.
