Planned Parenthood Supporters Dance the Night Away at Third Annual Cocktails with a Twist Event
(West Palm Beach)—Over one-hundred Planned Parenthood supporters in Martin County danced the night away at the Third Annual Cocktails with a Twist event. Held on March 28, 2009 at a private residence in Sewall’s Point in Stuart, the fun and funky cocktail party benefiting Planned Parenthood of South Florida and the Treasure Coast raised over $40,000 to support the organization’s critical reproductive health care and sexual health education programs.
Chairs Patty Downing & Ann Young made sure that Planned Parenthood’s Cocktails with a Twist event was the hottest party in Martin County. Longtime Planned Parenthood supporter Betty Lahti was honored at the annual event with the Champion of the Year Award,which recognizes the honoree’s dedication to assisting Planned Parenthood in achieving its mission.
Guests enjoyed dancing to music played by Bobby & the Blisters and were entertained with Astrology Readings by Susan L. Wallace, Spiritual Guidance by James Tucker, Palm Reading by Chantel and Magic performed by Dr. Wayne Diamond.
