National HIV Testing Day, "Take the Test, Take Control"

For Immediate Release: June 4, 2014


On June 27th Planned Parenthood of South Florida and the Treasure Coast will offer free HIV testing to the community as part of a collaborative effort between Planned Parenthood Federation of America and AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF*).

Getting tested for HIV is an important part of staying healthy and rapid HIV tests can provide results in as quickly as 10 minutes.

Planned Parenthood is here to provide confidential care no matter what. Take the test, take control. All you need to do is walk into one of our nine health centers and get tested.

*AHF provides both medical services and advocacy. The organization is the nation’s largest provider of HIV/AIDS medical care.
