In-Clinic Abortion

In-clinic abortions are sometimes called surgical abortions, though they're generally an in-office procedure and not surgery. In-clinic abortions are quick and extremely effective.

Medication Abortion

Medication abortion, or the abortion pill, is a safe and effective way of ending an early pregnancy (up to 11 weeks and 0 days gestation). You can usually have your abortion in the privacy of your own home. 

Telehealth Medication Abortion (Virginia only)

Our Virginia health centers (Roanoke and Charlottesville) offer telehealth medical abortion appointments. If you are a resident of Viriginia, you may be able to have a video or phone visit with a doctor or nurse for the abortion pill and then have the pills mailed to you.
