Choice Affairs is a signature series of fabulous events imagined, created, underwritten and put on by a dedicated group of Planned Parenthood volunteers and supporters. Kicking off our 26th season, we look back at some of the successes from 2015 – selling more than 480 tickets and grossing over $96,000 – from a series of events that spanned a behind-the-scenes tour of Hearst Castle, access to an exclusive Malibu Hills estate, and a tour of the Port of Hueneme, to name a few. Choice Affairs offers exclusive experiences and has provided more than $1.2 million of funding for programs and services. September kicks of the new season – for those who are interested in participating as a volunteer, donor, hostess, or to ensure you are on the mailing list, please contact Meggan McCarthy: [email protected] Be on the lookout for the Choice Affairs booklet in the Springtime – February or March. Events take place between April and June 2016.

The Action Fund Events
The Action Fund's annual Mardi Gras Dinner in early February was a huge success! Thank you to our supporters. Look for details about the Action Fund's annual Politics, Sex & Cocktails event to come out in late June.
Annual Roe vs. Wade Anniversary
Each year, Planned Parenthood helps coordinate Roe vs. Wade anniversary events in Santa Barbara, Ventura and San Luis Obispo counties. The events are held in January to commemorate the anniversary of the January 22, 1973 landmark Supreme Court decision upholding a woman's right to access a safe and legal abortion.
