Colo Springs— Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains’ Westside heath center (located at 3480 Centennial Blvd.) will reopen tomorrow, June 30, with limited services and business hours upon news that the mandatory evacuation order has been lifted.

The Westside Planned Parenthood health center will be open from 8 am-3 pm, offering limited services such as contraception visits, emergency contraception, pregnancy tests, and limited STD testing and treatment.

On Monday, July 2, the health center will resume full business operations including normal business hours.

“While it was welcome news to learn that we would be able reopen our health center and serve the community, today is a somber occasion as we know that the Waldo fire is far from contained and many people in our community remain uncertain of what’s ahead. Our thoughts remain with everyone in our community and our wishes for normalcy and safety go out to everyone,” said Madonna Huntingford, Westside health center manager.

Patients are encouraged to call 1.800.230.PLAN or the Westside health center at 719.475.7162 to verify the availability of specific services on Friday, June 30.
