Our health centers remain busy. We have already distributed over 3,300 vaccines and are now offering it to over 600 folks weekly at all of our health centers. In addressing our community’s need to make these distribution clinics more equitable and accessible, we are excited to announce that we taking walk-ins at all of our vaccine clinics. We are now also offering the vaccine to all of our patients over the age of 18 that are seeking reproductive health care.
With LA County selecting us as one of 40 organizations to invest in doing this life-saving work, we need folks to help support our expansion. We are looking to hire medical staff in our health centers and always looking for volunteers to support our vaccine education outreach work.
Here’s what folks getting vaccinated with us have to say:
"Getting the vaccine is part of doing what is necessary to prevent the further spread of Covid-19. I am grateful to be able to receive this vaccine and I am hopeful that this will move us closer to ending the pandemic. I appreciate how accommodating and helpful the staff at Planned Parenthood was. I am thankful that Planned Parenthood is proving folks with the vaccine and that they provide so many other invaluable services to the community.
– PPPSGV Vaccination Patient
"Getting the Covid-19 vaccine means something different to many people, but the one thing we all have in common is that we want to protect others. I have lost family due to Covid complications, so I know and can relate to others who have lost loved ones." – PPPSGV Vaccination Patient
Thank you for doing everything you can to help end this pandemic and make our communities as healthy as they can be.
