Planned Parenthood Highland Park is now open! Visit out new health center serving the Northeast Los Angeles community at 5903 N. Figueroa Street.

We opened for you -- our community and patients. Because we know that your sexual and reproductive needs can't wait. And at a time when so much feels unknown, we want to continue to provide you with the quality, affordable, non-judgemental Planned Parenthood care you're used to.

The new, modern Highland Park health center has seven exam rooms, one counseling room, and an onsite lab for sample collection. Patients can come in for a full scope of sexual and reproductive services, including birth control, cancer screenings, wellness exams, sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing and treatment, PrEP and PEP HIV-prevention medications, and more. And as a trusted abortion provider, medication abortion services will be offered by the end of this month. We’ve also expanded our services by offering LGBTQ+ care, which includes transgender hormone therapy.

Virtual and in-person appointments can be made at pppsgv.org or by calling 626.798.7266

On the day Planned Parenthood Highland Park opened, staff were greeted by a patient waiting for them to open the door. We knew we were needed in the community, but seeing a patient waiting for us showed us that urgency firsthand. As our community faces a pandemic and economic crisis, there is a greater need for quality and affordable health care. And that’s why we pushed forward with opening the Highland Park health center. There was need for sexual and reproductive health care in the Northeast Los Angeles community, and we wanted to fill that gap.

The new health center is thriving. In less than a month, we’ve served more than 500 patients in the Northeast Los Angeles community through both virtual and in-person appointments.

Virtual appointments have allowed us to connect patients to care through a private and secure video conferencing platform. Patients are able to get the Planned Parenthood care they’re used to from wherever they are. This week, Planned Parenthood Pasadena San Gabriel Valley hit a  big milestone in our telehealth services. Since launching in March, we’ve served more than 10,000 patients, putting us among the top Planned Parenthood telehealth providers in the nation!

Planned Parenthood Highland Park was built to address the growing need for more health care services in the Northeast Los Angeles community. For the past 14 years, we’ve been serving the community out of a small Eagle Rock health center with just one exam room. Our dream was always to expand, and that dream became a reality when we opened Highland Park. All staff and operations from the Eagle Rock health center have moved to Highland Park, and the Eagle Rock facility (1578 Colorado Boulevard) is now closed.

We’re here for you, and can’t wait to serve you. Make an appointment today at our new Highland Park health center to see for yourself what quality and affordable Planned Parenthood care looks like.

In This Together,
Sheri
