Two San Diego women organized an ultra-marathon to support our local Planned Parenthood affiliate! This is one of five Run 4 All Women long-distance runs in August that will support Planned Parenthood across the country. On Saturday, these grassroots activists will be joined by more than 100 other runners, walkers, and supporters as they run from Encinitas to Chula Vista to support Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest.

The media is invited to join Run 4 All Women California organizers Amy Abrams and Whitney Baugher as they and many others cross the finish line at Chula Vista Marina View Park at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 9, 2017. These women have organized a large celebration and rally at the finish line where Planned Parenthood patients and supporters will be talking about the difference Planned Parenthood has made in millions of peoples’ lives.

“We are thrilled to have supporters like Amy and Whitney,” said Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest President and CEO Darrah DiGiorgio Johnson. “By running 40 miles in support of Planned Parenthood, they are showing in a really meaningful way how important our work is to them and our millions of patients and supporters.”
