Join us for a hybrid event, with in-person* and virtual options

*In-person space is extremely limited

For 59 years, Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest has been proud to provide accessible, affordable sexual and reproductive health care. This year we celebrate with Ready. Resilient. Brave. — a nod to the courage of our staff, donors, and patients; and our movement’s determination to provide compassionate care today, tomorrow, and always, no matter what.

As more people lose access to care in their home states, we will be prepared to provide safe and legal abortion services and sexual health education. We’ll train the next generation of expert providers. And we’ll advocate for policies that protect and expand access to health care for all.

Join the Honorary Committee and celebrate with us in person!

Event Chairs

James Williamson & Geoff Kors

James Williamson and Geoff Kors are community activists and long-time residents of Palm Springs, CA. James is the current Board Chair for Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest, and Geoff sits on the Palm Springs City Council.

Merritt Tierce

Merritt Tierce is the author of the powerful 2021  New York Times Magazine cover story titled “The Abortion I Didn’t Have,” a thought-provoking personal perspective that stimulated a national conversation about unplanned pregnancy and the realities of parenthood. Merritt volunteered and worked for the Texas Equal Access Fund from its founding in 2004, serving as executive director from 2011 to 2014. She is a co-author of the play One in 3, about the reality of abortion in women’s lives, and wrote for the Netflix shows Orange Is the New Black and Social Distance. She is the author of the acclaimed novel Love Me Back and her work has appeared in The New York TimesOxford American, and The Paris Review.

In honor of Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest’s 59th anniversary, a generous anonymous supporter is matching all donations, up to $200,000, through April 14, 2022. Donate today and have your gift go twice as far!

Thanks to people like you, we are growing to meet the needs of communities across San Diego, Riverside, and Imperial counties — and beyond: With your help, we can open new health centers in underserved areas, train the next generation of sexual and reproductive health care providers, and improve health outcomes for the 150,000 patients we serve each year.
