Volunteers, Staff, and Supporters Showed PRIDE at the 2022 Annual San Diego Pride Parade

This year’s theme was Justice with Joy and we were thrilled to be in community and celebrate together. 

Let’s be clear – sexual and reproductive rights ARE LGBTQ+ rights, and any attempts to take away those rights are an attack on us all. LGBTQ+ people are a part of the Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest community — they are our patients, staff, and supporters, and the fight for LGBTQ+ rights is part of Planned Parenthood’s mission.

About 100 volunteers distributed 20,000 condoms, 10,000 lube packets, 1,000 internal condoms, 1,000 dental dams, sunscreen, and stickers while others held signs and danced their way through the crowd. Thank you so much to everyone who helped — whether it was making thousands of goodie bags for the big day or participating in the event.
