The evening began with a live-painting performance from Clarione, who created two truly incredible paintings. After dinner, the program started with an inspirational video lifting up the voices of our patients, a few of whom who were honored onstage. Longtime supporters Pat Wilson and Greg Rose co-chaired the event, and emcee Liz Plank livened things up with her wit and charm. The lead attorneys from Arnold & Porter received the Fearless Voice Award for their courage in defending Planned Parenthood against the malicious creators of the video smear campaign that attacked our affiliate and others in 2015. The San Diego Gay Men’s Chorus closed the night with a rousing rendition of “You Don’t Own Me”— complete with “choralography.”

And thanks to the extraordinary generosity of the McKinney Family and the Stiefel Behner Charitable Fund, their combined $500,000 matching gift challenge helped raise more than one million dollars for Planned Parenthood’s vital programs and services!

This one inspirational night did so much for so many. Thank you for being a huge part of what makes this organization so incredible, and inspiring us every day.
