It’s that time of year again: You’re getting ready for the holidays and trying to find personalized, thoughtful gifts for all those special people in your life. Well, like every other month of the year, Planned Parenthood has you covered with a great list of gift ideas for everyone who wants to support our mission. Maybe you or someone you know has been a Planned Parenthood patient, or you and your loved ones are committed to supporting affordable reproductive health care for all!

Here are some ways you can support your local Planned Parenthood affiliate while giving some truly memorable gifts:

  1. Donate. It’s simple, it’s fast, and it’s deeply appreciated. Non-profit organizations like Planned Parenthood depend on the generosity of donors. Any amount helps, and you can personalize each gift by donating to affiliates in states where your loved ones live, or you can give to the Planned Parenthood Federation of America. You can give a single amount, or choose smaller monthly increments that won’t break the bank — your friends and family will feel the love all year long!

Pro tip: Tell your family and friends that you’d like a donation to Planned Parenthood as one of your presents this year.

  1. Merch! Want to support Planned Parenthood and still have something to wrap? Check out the Planned Parenthood Market Place for awesome gift ideas. We’ve got everything from mugs to hoodies, and the best part is that proceeds go to support Planned Parenthood!

Businesses are also showing their support by donating a portion of the proceeds from certain items to Planned Parenthood. Check out some of those gift ideas here.

Know someone who loves the Beastie Boys, small businesses, sneakers, and a woman’s right to choose? For that very specific someone, Adam Horovitz of Beastie Boys fame is designing a sneaker, the proceeds of which will be donated to Planned Parenthood. The shoes are available for pre-order here.

  1. Give the gift of time. For everyone who’s feeling a little strapped for cash right now, nothing makes a better gift than volunteering for Planned Parenthood in the new year. There are a number of ways to get involved at every level of the organization. Pledge a specific amount of time that you’ll volunteer for each friend and family member (ex. 20 hours), and give them each a card letting them know what kind of volunteer work you’ll be doing in their name. Affordable and awesome!
  1. A Night Out. Want to show someone you care by giving them a night out on the town for a great cause? Planned Parenthood’s 54th Anniversary Dinner — the social event of the season — is coming up on April 6, 2017. Over 1,000 friends and supporters attended our annual event in 2016, and this year’s event promises to be just as exciting.

Happy and healthy holidays to you and your loved ones from all of us here at Planned Parenthood.
