Become an Advocate

The Community Action Fund is the advocacy and political arm of Planned Parenthood of Orange and San Bernardino Counties.

The Community Action Fund educates and informs the public and elected officials on issues related to reproductive freedom and works to elect representatives who are champions for reproductive freedom for all.

Attend an Event

PPOSBC hosts a number of events throughout the year featuring special guest speakers, auctions, and real-time pledging. Donations made at events help us continue to provide high-quality, compassionate care for all.

OUR IMPACT

260,493 Total Medical Visits

We facilitated 260,493 total medical visits across our nine Health Centers, including primary care visits through Melody Health, online behavioral health visits, and the Planned Parenthood Direct mobile application. 

$3,083,533 Provided

We've provided more than $3 million in care to patients that were unable to pay for services through our Continuing Access to Reproductive Equity (C.A.R.E.) program.

78,139 Educated

We reached 78,139 individuals through community education and outreach programs including sessions for students, training for professionals, and resources for parents.

Abortion Aid Program

In response to state abortion bans and the Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v Wade, PPOSBC has launched the Abortion Aid program to ensure that everyone has access to high-quality, compassionate care no matter where they live. 

The program provides transportation and accommodation assistance to patients traveling from out of state to access abortion care. So far, we’ve provided assistance to individuals from across the U.S., and have seen a drastic influx of out-of-state patients seeking care at our Health Centers.
