PPOSBC's Community Education and Outreach Department

Education sessions are live or pre-recorded and are provided by expert health educators. The content aligns with the requirements of the California Healthy Youth Act and sessions are available for both middle and high school students.

All topics are gender inclusive, medically accurate, age-appropriate, culturally sensitive, and available in English and Spanish. All curriculum and lesson plans are available for preview.

Peer Education Program

The Peer Education Program empowers high school-aged youth to become leaders on their school campuses and in their community. Youth are invited to attend a virtual training to become a certified peer health educator for the program. During this training youth gain leadership skills, learn how to be an advocate and a resource to their peers, and increase their knowledge on a variety of topics such as the importance of goals and values, dating violence, reproductive and sexual health topics, and much more.
