I have Insurance. Will My Insurance Pay for Services at Planned Parenthood?

Anyone with Medi-Cal or Medi-Cal Managed Care, regardless of which insurance plan they have, can come to Planned Parenthood for most of our services.

Some Covered California, Employer or Other Private Insurance allow you to receive most routine services from Planned Parenthood.

The following insurance plans and medical groups allow you to receive most routine services – like birth control, breast and cervical cancer screenings, and STD testing and treatment – from Planned Parenthood:

  • Anthem Blue Cross
  • Blue Shield of California
  • Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, POS or EPO

I don't have health insurance. Will Planned Parenthood still see me?

If you are uninsured, you may be able to receive no-cost reproductive health services under Family PACT.

Self Pay

If you are uninsured or prefer to pay out-of-pocket, we welcome cash, debit and credit cards.

You may qualify for reduced prices on certain services based on your income; ask at the front desk when you check in.

Looking for Insurance?

New health insurance options are now available for people without insurance.  Insurance may be low- or no-cost to you. And you can still come to Planned Parenthood!
