Planned Parenthood Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Assistance Program (Solano County)
This is a Case Management Program in Solano County providing free, specialized, culturally sensitive case management and housing services for select medically high risk, low-income people and their families. Eligibility is restricted and must be a referral from a health care provider
Cal-Learn (Solano County)
The Cal-Learn program helps pregnant and parenting youth who reside in a Cal-Works household to attend and graduate from high school or its equivalent. Eligibility in this program is strictly determined by Solano County Health and Social Services referral. The program participants must be under the age of 19, have not graduated High School, and receive Cash aid from Cal-Works. This ambitious effort consists of three coordinatedservices designed to help teens become self-sufficient adults and responsible parents:
- Intensive case management services assist teen parents to obtain education, health and social services;
- Payments for necessary childcare, transportation and educational expenses to enable pregnant/parenting teens to attend school; and
- Incentives to encourage school attendance and maintain academic progress
Onsite Food Closet
This program in collaboration with Solano/Contra Costa Food Bank is used to combat food insecurities for all of our case management families and clinical patient emergencies. Food is distributed and delivered 2 times per month for all case management clients and on an as needed basis for clinic patient emergencies.
