Looking for a different kind of IUD?

Planned Parenthood is part of an exciting study on a new investigational IUD called VeraCept and we are looking for volunteers to participate!

VeraCept Study

What makes VeraCept different?

  • VeraCept is a non-hormonal copper IUD with a low dose of copper.
  • VeraCept has been tested in the United States for the past six years in more than 1,000 subjects with high participant satisfaction.

What happens during participation in this study?

  • Participation is for five years and typical study subjects will be compensated up to $3,300.
  • Participation requires regularly scheduled clinic visits, which are paid for by the sponsor, and completing a 2-minute daily online diary.
