The Youth Health Promoters (formerly known as the Teen Advocates) are highly trained peer educators from the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan. They engage in outreach in their communities and conduct interactive workshops to inform youth about sexual and reproductive health topics, including teens’ rights and access to health care.
The Youth Health Promoters offer their workshops to thousands of teens every year in a wide range of community settings. They share information in a way that their peers can readily hear and understand. For more information, call the Youth Health Promoters Program Coordinator at 212-274-7263.
