Is PrEP Right for You?

PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) is a daily pill to prevent HIV.

Ask yourself the questions below to see if PrEP might be right for you:

In the last 6 months, did you:

Have sex without condoms with a person whose HIV status you didn’t know?
Have a sexually transmitted infection (an “STD”), such as gonorrhea, syphilis, or herpes?
Have sex while drunk or high?
Have sex for something you needed (such as housing, money, drugs)?
Share needles or injection supplies?

In the last 6 months, have you had a sexual partner who:

Refused to use condoms?
Made you have sex when you did not want to?
Had sex with anyone besides you?
Has ever been in jail or prison?
Injected drugs with a needle?
Has HIV?
Is a man who has sex with other men?
