Hempstead, NY - Planned Parenthood of Nassau County (PPNC) will be hosting a day of community building and activism today from 1 -10 PM at Thyme Restaurant in Roslyn, NY, for supporters to stand with Planned Parenthood.

The event will encourage guests to pink out and power up, and will feature activism stations with opportunities to donate, volunteer and take action, informational resources to better understand the new political landscape facing Planned Parenthood, exciting raffles and Planned Parenthood apparel.

There will also be a cash bar with all proceeds going to PPNC and complimentary refreshments.

With over 250 people scheduled to attend, PPNC is thrilled to come together with some of its greatest supporters and advocates. “The Open House to Keep Our Doors Open will be a powerful, visible demonstration of the incredible support that Planned Parenthood enjoys in this community and around the country. This gathering is also emblematic of the solidarity that exists among pro-women’s health advocates to ensure that our doors always remain open,” said PPNC CEO and President, JoAnn Smith.
