Tom Catmull and the Clerics to perform at Planned Parenthood of Montana Fundraiser
Missoula, MT–Planned Parenthood of Montana (PPMT) will hold a benefit dance featuring live music by Tom Catmull and the Clerics at The Florence Hotel’s Governor’s Ballroom-Missoula on Thursday, October 6th. This event will also feature Stacey James, PPMT CEO, as guest speaker. The event begins at 6 pm with a no-host bar, hors d’oeuvres, silent auction, and line dancing lessons. A piece of fine jewelry will be raffled off, and door prizes will be given throughout the evening.
“We are extremely excited that Tom Catmull and the Clerics will be performing at this event. A local favorite, this band offers quality sound with a variety of style that makes every Missoulian want to dance! Prepare yourself for an evening of line dancing and two stepping! We are also thrilled that CEO Stacy James will be traveling from Billings to speak about her passion for the work that we do across the state, providing much needed health care, education and advocacy for Montanans from all walks of life. “This event is a great way for us to show our supporters a good time, thank them, educate and inspire them about our mission, all while raising funds for Planned Parenthood,” says event chair and PPMT board member, Dori Gilels. CEO Stacy James expresses the gratitude of Planned Parenthood for every dollar the event brings in. “With the current state of our economy, we see more and more low-income, uninsured patients who might otherwise slip through the cracks,” James says.
Planned Parenthood of Montana is a nonprofit health agency governed by a volunteer board of directors. An affiliate of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, PPMT operates clinics in Billings, Great Falls, Helena, and Missoula, as well as 5 rural, satellite clinics around the state. Planned Parenthood of Montana is the largest provider of family planning services in the state, providing reproductive health care on a sliding fee scale and responsible, comprehensive sexuality education to over 20,000 Montanans every year.
