Family Life Education Programs
The following list is intended to provide an idea of the current educational programming available through your local Planned Parenthood. PPMTs Education Department strives for excellence and is always looking to provide educational programming that fits the needs of the communities we serve. If there is a sexual health education need in your community that is not listed below please feel free to contact our staff to discuss developing a program to fit those needs.
Responsible Choices
Planned Parenthood of Montanas Responsible Choices program is offered to at-risk adolescent and adult groups across the state. The program may be offered either as six or twelve-sessions to youth serving organizations including schools, church groups and social service agencies. Topics may include reproductive anatomy, pregnancy, parenting, birth control, STDs (including HIV and Hepatitis C), communication & decision making, sexual harassment, date rape, and sexuality through the lifespan. Cost of programming varies based on number of sessions. Limited scholarships are available. Please contact your local educator to find out more information about fees and scheduling a program in your community.
Health Education for People with Disabilities
Montanas youth and adults with developmental disabilities are some of the most vulnerable among us for experiencing sexual violence. PPMTs education department is aware of this fact and is working to educate about healthy boundaries and bodies for those who live with disabilities and their caretakers. If you are interested in a workshop or want to know more information, please contact your local educator to set up an appointment.
