Center Closings in Herkimer & Granville

After careful evaluation, Planned Parenthood Mohawk Hudson (PPMH) has decided to close its Granville and Herkimer health centers on July 3. We will miss having these community health centers. However, we are confident that our nearby health centers offer the professional facility, range of hours and services that patients have come to expect. We're committed to offering the highest level of patient care possible.

"We care deeply about the health of our patients," states Nancy Dame, vice president for client services. "Staff are working to transition patients to one of our nearby locations, or to a different provider, to ensure they get the prescriptions and health services they need without interruption."

Granville patients call 518.792.0994, x202 or click here for more info.
Herkimer patients call 315.724.6146, x1281 or

Patient medical records are available electronically at all PPMH health centers. This means that patients who continue don't need to fill out any forms.
Nearby PPMH centers in Glens Falls, Saratoga Springs, and Utica have the capacity to welcome new and transferring patients.
Open 5 days/week, these PPMH centers offer early morning and evening appointments, walk-in hours (no appointment needed), private parking, and more services.
Patients who choose to transfer to a different medical provider may contact PPMH for a list of local providers who are currently accepting new patients and request a medical records release form.
Community Commitment
Planned Parenthood Mohawk Hudson is grateful to the community for its support and determination to ensure that high quality health care is accessible to all. We will continue to provide education programs at schools, community events, and local organizations in Herkimer and Washington counties, and advocate for reproductive rights and equality.
