CEU courses take place at our St. Paul - Vandalia Clinic and Administrative offices, located at 671 Vandalia Street. Please bring a photo ID to the main lobby security desk on the day of the event. Emergency Contraception (EC)

Our April sessions on Emergency Contraception (EC) will be led by Jessica Zaldivar. Jessica Zaldivar, APN, graduated with an MSN from the University of Minnesota in 2009 and joined Planned Parenthood Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota in October of that same year.

  • Discuss all EC options
  • Discuss mechanisms of action of available EC
  • Provide evidence based education on selection of EC
  • Discuss options for initiation of contraception post EC

Managing Burnout and Stress in Reproductive Health Care

Our May sessions on Managing Burnout and Stress in Reproductive Health Care will be led by Lizzi Kampf, MSW, LICSW. Lizzi Kampf, MSW, LICSW completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Women’s Studies from the University of St. Catherine, where she returned to pursue a masters degree in Clinical Social Work. As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker she has practiced in medical settings including pediatric and adult clinics and hospitals, as well as government and non-profit settings. She has particular interest in child protection and child welfare, adolescent mental health, and reproductive psychology.

Learning Objectives:        

  • Identify and define key terms related to burnout and traumatic stress
  • Identify and discuss ways burnout presents in the context of providing reproductive health care and abortion and is affected by the political landscape
  • Learn and utilize strategies to identify, address, and prevent burnout
