Recognizing and Understanding Domestic Violence

This presentation covers the cycle of power and control, the various forms of domestic violence (physical, emotional, sexual/reproductive, digital, and financial), and warning signs. It also covers how health care providers can effectively screen for domestic violence and how to work with patients or clients who may be experiencing abuse, including what possible resources to offer.
