 You can now receive gender-affirming hormone therapy (including testosterone and estrogen), self-injection trainings, and resources & referrals for transgender-specific medical and legal services.

Transgender patients are welcome to PPMHV for other care, including well exams, contraception, abortion, and STI screenings. We are building our capacity to provide affirming and inclusive care in all our services for our patients who are transgender.

Most insurances, including Medicaid, are accepted.

We care about each patient regardless of gender identity or expression, and we are committed to the highest quality healthcare for our transgender and gender-variant patients.

What services do we offer?

You can now receive gender-affirming hormone therapy (including testosterone, estradiols, and/or spironolactone), self-injection trainings, and resources & referrals for transgender-specific medical and legal services, as well as healthcare services in the Mid-Hudson Valley known to be welcoming and affirming of transgender and gender-expansive people.

Transgender patients are welcome to PPMHV for all of the services we provide, including well exams, contraception, abortion, and STI screenings and treatment. We are building our capacity to provide affirming and inclusive care in all our services for our patients who are transgender and gender non-conforming.

How do I make an appointment?

Call PPMHV at 845-562-7800 to set up an appointment. You will have a pre-visit phone call reviewing insurance/payment options and answering your preliminary questions. We are here for you!

How much does it cost?

We have billing staff ready to help you figure out costs and payment for this service. Most insurances, including Medicaid, are accepted. We work to keep the cost of our services as affordable as possible. If you are uninsured or do not wish to use your insurance, we may be able to work with you to set up a payment plan.

How Old Do I Have to Be to Get Hormones from PPMHV?

For our transgender hormone services, we see patients 18 and over. If you are under 18, we can refer you to other Mid-Hudson Valley providers who can give you hormonal care.
