Tricia O’Malley assumes leadership of Planned Parenthood Development and Marketing Team
POUGHKEEPSIE, NY—Planned Parenthood Mid-Hudson Valley is pleased to announce the appointment of Tricia O’Malley to the position of Director of Development and Marketing. Tricia comes to Planned Parenthood with 20 years of expertise in fundraising and non-profit management and a great passion for the Hudson Valley. "Planned Parenthood Mid-Hudson Valley is so pleased to have someone with Tricia's knowledge and experience join our efforts. We are very much looking forward to all that she brings to the agency and the people we serve,” stated Ruth-Ellen Blodgett, President and CEO. Tricia was most recently the Associate Director of the Foundation for Vassar Brothers Medical Center where she was a pivotal partner in their fundraising and capital campaigns and managed the Hudson Valley's largest black-tie event, drawing more than 800 guests annually. Prior to her work at Vassar Brothers, Tricia honed her skills in health care, academic and cultural non-profit environments. She also created and managed a multi-million dollar real estate business in Dutchess County. Tricia is well-versed in the areas of major gift solicitation, special events, annual campaigns, social media and external affairs. In this new capacity, she will be the chief development officer overseeing the areas of fundraising and marketing. Tricia is a graduate of Leadership Orange and the Fellowship Program of Pattern for Progress and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Marist College.
