PROTEST THE 40 DAYS FOR LIFE WITH PPMHV!
Dear Planned Parenthood Allies,
The 40 Days for Life Campaign & Tour, proclaiming itself to be “the largest pro-life mobilization in history,” begins in Washington, DC on September 27 and reaches New York State 3 days later. On Friday, September 30, the 40 Days for Life Campaign & Tour will be making short “Vigil Stop-Bys” at Planned Parenthood Health Centers in Newburgh (9:15 AM) and Poughkeepsie (10:30 AM).
How can you help?
Please join us in a silent protest of these events outside of the Newburgh Planned Parenthood Health Center or the Poughkeepsie Planned Parenthood Health Center, whichever is closest to you (see below for addresses). Please wear a pink shirt – we will also have some available. We will provide signs. These are “Stop-Bys”, meaning they could possibly last only 15-30 minutes. Please try to arrive 30 minutes early, so we can have a presence before the 40 Days for Lifers arrive. Also, please note that this is NOT a rally and we will not be chanting or engaging with 40 Days For Lifers – our goal is simply to have a presence in support of Planned Parenthood’s mission and the services we provide. At a time when the work of Planned Parenthood is being questioned and attacked on a national level, our presence is crucial.
With questions or to RSVP to let us know you will attend, please contact Ashley Casale, Public Affairs Coordinator for PPMHV at [email protected] or 845-867-3163.
