Reports to: Vice President of Patient Services 

Job Classification: Full-time 

Job Summary: The health center manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the health center including supervision of staff; monitoring of administrative and clinical policies and procedures; ensuring overall efficient operations; assuring compliance with quality assurance; fiscal performance; customer service, and productivity standards staff selection and development, and maintenance of equipment, supplies and facility. The Health Center Manager will help build capacity, which includes improving productivity, cost effectiveness, center flow, customer service, patient satisfaction, staffing levels and skills. Ensures that expense management policies and procedures are in place to support the revenue cycle.

Job Summary: Responsible for routine assistance in family planning, surgical clinics, procedure room cleaning, sterilization, and lab procedures which include regulatory compliance and quality risk management. The front office plays a vital role for PPGMR to provide excellent healthcare to our loyal and supportive population. Under the direct supervision of the Health Center Manager, the front office is responsible for scheduling and registering patients, obtaining benefit information and generating letters for authorizations, utilizing various computer programs to verify insurance eligibility, reviewing patient's financial status to determine necessary payments, and making appropriate financial or payment arrangements.

Job Opportunity for Nurse Practitioner/Clinician

Reports to: Vice President of Patient Services and Medical Director

Job Classification: Full-time

Job Summary: Be a leader in implementing new protocols and programs, train nurses and health care assistants, and participate in problem identification and problem-solving activities. Provide culturally competent sexual health care to all patients, including education regarding contraception, STI prevention, reproductive health, pregnancy options, and hormone therapy. Perform health physical examinations on females and males. Review and interpret patient medical and social histories and symptoms. Perform medical screenings, including breast and pelvic examination and obtaining of materials for STI screening. Perform and interpret laboratory test results and order procedures as needed. Evaluate, plan, and implement patient treatment plans. Participate in the referral/follow-up process. Prescribe medications and contraceptive devices as allowed by license. Examine patients for IUD fitting and insertions and other approved contraceptive devices. Perform abortion follow-up exams and other abortion-related services. Participate in quality assurance projects and compliance and demonstrate leadership in meeting productivity and efficiency goals. Follow charting requirements in EHR and understand CPT and ICD-10 coding. Remain current on Planned Parenthood protocols and requirements for medical care.

Qualifications: Current licensure in TN as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a minimum of 1-2 years experience.
