Job Summary: Planned Parenthood Greater Memphis Region (PPGMR) is seeking an energetic and caring individual with excellent clerical, communication, and customer service skills to fill a front office position at our Health Center. The front office plays a vital role for PPGMR to provide excellent healthcare to our loyal and supportive population. Under the direct supervision of the Health Center Manager, the front office is responsible for

  • scheduling and registering patients
  • obtaining benefit information and generating letters for authorizations
  • utilizing various computer programs to verify insurance eligibility
  • reviewing patient's financial status to determine necessary payments
  • making appropriate financial or payment arrangements

Job Opportunity for Ultrasound Tech

Reports to: Health Center Manager

Job Classification: Part-time (typical schedule is Mondays and Thursdays 9am-4pm, every other Friday 9am-2pm) 

Job Summary: Responsible for performing ultrasounds with gestational age of the fetus for surgical or medical abortion according to PPGMR’s medical standards and guidelines, and quality risk management. This position is also responsible for promoting Planned Parenthood by establishing a positive and respectful interaction with patients, staff, and others. Ensures the daily operations will comply with Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) protocols as well as all appropriate local, state and federal regulations. Provides direct client care as needed.
