Including Planned Parenthood of Maryland (PPM) in your will or estate plans is one of the most meaningful ways to support family planning and reproductive rights. By supporting the future of Planned Parenthood in this way you are creating a legacy for the principles and values most important to you. Planned gifts can be made through your estate or financial plans and can include bequests designated in a will or living trust, as well as life income gifts.

If you intend to leave a planned gift to PPM, please download this pdf and mail the completed form to us; or, fill out an online intention form.

You can also name PPM a beneficiary in your will by creating a Free Will.

Bequests: Naming Planned Parenthood of Maryland in Your Will

Your will affirms, honors, and protects what matters most to you. Through a specific bequest, you can name a particular dollar amount, or through a residuary bequest you can give all or part of what is remaining after payment of debts, expenses, and specific bequests. Here is sample language for your attorney:

"I give, devise, and bequeath to Planned Parenthood of Maryland or its successor, now or formerly at 330 N. Howard Street, Baltimore, MD 21201, a gift of ($_____ or _____ percent of the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate), to be used for its general purposes."

Other Ways to Give

You might also consider naming Planned Parenthood as a beneficiary in your retirement plan, insurance policy, or bank and investment accounts. Depending on the plan, Planned Parenthood can be named as a full, partial, or contingent beneficiary. You will need the following information:

Legal Name: Planned Parenthood of Maryland, Inc.
Address: 330 N. Howard Street, Baltimore, MD 21201
Employer Identification Number (EIN): 52-0607930
Tax status: Recognized by the I.R.S. as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization
