YPC History

In 2018 the Young Professionals Committee (YPC) began with 10 young people from across the Bay Area who came together to share their passion for protecting safe, affordable, comprehensive health care for everyone. The first year was a success, with three events and valuable knowledge about how to most efficiently use the time and talent of each member.

PPMM’s goal is to meet communities where they’re at, and the YPC plays a vital role in forging lasting relationships with new and potential supporters. The YPC is an important part of our long term strategy to expand our reach into new networks in the areas we serve.

The YPC remains a collaboration between the Development and Volunteer Services teams to encourage young professionals to support PPMM in new and meaningful ways.
