The Young Professionals Cohort is comprised of young people across our region who come together to share their passion for Planned Parenthood Mar Monte.

YPC volunteers support PPMM in innovative ways that engage new and existing donors. They are dedicated to the mission of PPMM and use their time, talent, and resources to increase support.

YPC History

In 2018 the Young Professionals Cohort (YPC) began with 10 young people from across the Bay Area who came together to share their passion for protecting safe, affordable, comprehensive health care for everyone. The first year was a success, with three events and valuable knowledge about how to most efficiently use the time and talent of each member.

PPMM’s goal is to meet communities where they’re at, and the YPC volunteers play a vital role in forging lasting relationships with new and potential supporters. YPC is an important part of our long term strategy to expand our reach into new networks in the areas we serve.

YPC remains a collaboration between the Development and Volunteer Services teams to encourage young professionals to support PPMM in new and meaningful ways. All YPC meetings will remain virtual until the pandemic recedes and PPMM resumes normal operations.
