Last night we learned the painful news of the passing of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg – a titan of equity and incredible force for good. We mourn the loss of a powerful and unparalleled woman. Justice Ginsburg was the second woman appointed to the Supreme Court, a brilliant jurist, and a cultural icon.

Her fiery dissents, her penchant for jabots, and most importantly, her unwavering commitment to gender equality has created a legacy that spans far and wide. Like so many across the nation, we grieve for her passing but are inspired to press forward. The world is a better place because of Justice Ginsburg.

All of us at Planned Parenthood Keystone are committed to the very values and principles upheld by Justice Ginsburg. We know the fight ahead will be tough – probably the toughest fight we have ever faced. The future of abortion is at stake. Despite the despair, we will move swiftly into action to honor her legacy.
