[Warminster, PA] – Planned Parenthood Keystone (PPKeystone) officially opened its new Susie and John Stanley Health Center at Reading at a ribbon cutting ceremony on November 19, 2020. This new center, located at 1920 Kutztown Road in Reading, replaces the previous PPKeystone location on South 4th Street.

“We are thrilled to open this brand new, state-of-the-art health center in Berks County. We believe that part of having a healthy community is making sure residents have access to the sexual and reproductive health care and education they need,” said PPKeystone CEO & President Melissa Reed.  “This location offers increased access to essential care for those in Reading and the surrounding areas. By providing a full range of reproductive health services and community education, the Susie and John Stanley Health Center at Reading is poised to improve the region’s overall health and wellness during these challenging times.”

The Susie and John Stanley Health Center at Reading offers a variety of reproductive health care services, including cancer screenings, breast exams, birth control, emergency contraception, testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections, pregnancy testing, abortion care, and PEP and PrEP. It is also home to The Spectrum, PPKeystone’s LGBTQ+ youth program. PPKeystone anticipates serving more than 2,000 patients annually at this location.

The new facility was made possible by the generosity of Susie and the late John Stanley, whose family are long-standing supporters of the organization.

“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to contribute to Planned Parenthood's new facility, on behalf of myself and my husband John. Our faith seeks concrete action, I am glad we can assist those who are most affected by our turbulent political and economic times,” said Susie Stanley.

Planned Parenthood Keystone’s nine health centers in Central and Eastern Pennsylvania offer a wide range of sexual and reproductive health services, and more than 22,000 patients annually depend on Planned Parenthood Keystone for expert, affordable, and compassionate health care.
