Our Mission

Planned Parenthood Keystone is committed to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion to cultivate and promote a healthcare network that provides equitable access to sexual and reproductive health care services. We are committed to delivering services that respect and honor all people. To do this, we are working to dismantle health disparities to achieve health equity and bodily autonomy for all. Our commitment to fostering a culture of inclusion goes across our entire affiliate as we actively address systemic racism and inequalities that are embedded within our healthcare systems.

Our Approach

We must address the systemic and deep-rooted racism and other forms of oppression within our healthcare system, organization, and ourselves. We strive to hold ourselves accountable in pursuit of humility, education, partnership, critical dialogue while centering voices, needs and lived experiences of underrepresented communities

Our Focus

Dismantling inequities within healthcare involves confronting power, privilege, and structural changes. We also continue to address traumatic effects and the efforts needed for healing and reconciliation. We acknowledge the work to become the organization we envision will require progressive and intentional action.
