You Can Make A Difference

By sharing your story or walking our patients through protesters, you will be taking a stand for what's right — allowing everyone the freedom to make their own decisions about their bodies, their families, and their futures.

Patient Escorting

Patient escorts are now the first line of defense for abortion rights. We need patient escorts at all of our health centers.

Become A Patient Advocate

We need volunteers to share their stories about getting care at Planned Parenthood. If you have had an abortion, we ask you to consider signing up as a patient storyteller.

We uplift patient stories through a variety of platforms to reach supporters, legislators, and community stakeholders. Patient story tellers come from many different backgrounds and sometimes may choose to remain anonymous. We will never use your story or information you share without your consent.

Our storyteller team works one-on-one to help you cultivate your story in a way that makes you feel comfortable and heard.

We understand you may have concerns about what to say or how to say it, and we’d like to help you get your story down on paper in a way that captures the fullness of your experience.

If you are ready to talk to our team about sharing your story, please email [email protected] or complete our online sign up form here

If you have a story to share, but you’re not quite ready yet, please reach out to us with questions. We’re here with you. No matter what.

We have lots of other volunteer opportunities available. Find out more about them below.

Patient Escorts

Support and assist patients who are walking from our parking lots into our health centers. We need escorts at all of our locations, but we are especially short on patient escorts in Wilkes-Barre, Allentown, and Lancaster.
