PPINK responds to Hoosiers for Life video
For Immediate Release: Nov. 17, 2016
INDIANAPOLIS – Planned Parenthood of Indiana and Kentucky (PPINK) does everything in its power to protect those who rely on us. PPINK stands up to any and all who try to erect barriers to essential services, or interfere with anyone's ability to make their own medical decisions.
"Family planning is not a social issue, it is an economic issue that has a financial impact on the state of Indiana and the nation," said Betty Cockrum, President and CEO of PPINK. "Lawmakers who continue to bury their heads in the sand on these reproductive issues are hurting those that they pledged to serve."
Our commitment will only increase as we step up the fight to guarantee access to all. This includes mobilizing a diverse coalition of reproductive justice supporters to hold Indiana lawmakers accountable for promoting public health policies that serve the best interests of all Hoosiers during the 2017 session.
