INDIANAPOLIS – Planned Parenthood of Indiana and Kentucky’s (PPINK) President and CEO, Christie Gillespie, released the following statement regarding the March for Our Lives rallies taking place on March 24:
“Planned Parenthood stands with the students organizing rallies across Indiana and Kentucky to demand safety from gun violence in their schools. All students deserve to learn in a safe environment, and no child should ever fear for their life in a classroom. We stand in solidarity with young Hoosiers and Kentuckians who are holding their elected officials accountable and demanding action. Supporting the right to learn and raise families in safe and healthy communities, without fear of violence, is an important piece of Planned Parenthood’s work toward reproductive freedom.”
