Health Care No Matter What: Kentucky Health Centers Weather High Number of Protests
When Planned Parenthood of Indiana and Kentucky announced that its Louisville Health Center would resume providing abortion services this past March, there was much fanfare and focus on the clinic, which included protestors.
IN•clued, a Sex Ed Program for LGBTQ youth, Is Wildly Successful!
For decades, we’ve fought for youth to have access to the crucial sexual and reproductive health information they need to make the best decisions about their own bodies and lives – we’ve also pioneered the best ways to bring that information to them.

Planned Parenthood Stands with the LGBTQ Community
As we reflect on the month of June, we want to take a moment to uplift the celebration of Pride. Pride is a joyful celebration of the lived possibility of being our full selves out loud and the grief at what – and who - it has cost us to get even this far.
Black Lives Matter
Black Lives Matter. The fundamental right to bodily autonomy—the belief that every person should be safe and free in their body—is not a right everyone shares, which is why Planned Parenthood supports the Movement 4 Black Lives.
Speaking Up For Racial Justice
Black women, Black transgender people, and Black families have all suffered from us not openly and unapologetically condemning a justice system where Black people are over-policed, over-incarcerated, and killed right before our eyes.
Thank you, Betty: A Memorial
Betty led Planned Parenthood’s work in Indiana for 15 years. Betty was a fierce advocate for reproductive rights and abortion access, taking every opportunity to educate and inform people about Planned Parenthood. She fought tirelessly to make emergency contraception available over the counter, ensuring people in Indiana and Kentucky could use Medicaid for reproductive health services.
Five Ways to Support from Home
A lot of supporters ask what they can do to support Planned Parenthood during this time of social distancing. While some in-person avenues of support may not be available right now, there is still a lot you can do to help keep reproductive care in place for all who need it!
International Women’s Health Day and Recipes
We celebrated National Women's Health Week - a week-long health observance led by the U.S. Department of Health – from May 10th to May 17th. It’s an important reminder that women’s health hasn’t always been valued or even considered in the past, and it’s a reminder to make your health a priority today. Especially now.
