Illinois

Chicago Abortion Fund

  • Eligibility:
    • Seeking abortion care in the Midwest or person seeking abortion care who lives in the Midwest
  • Support type: 
    • Financial assistance
    • Logistical support
  • How to contact:

      • Helpline hours: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday between 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM CST
      • Leave a voicemail including name, phone number, whether it is safe to leave a message, and preferred dates/times to be contacted. Messages will be returned within 24 hours.

Midwest Access Coalition

    • Must live in Midwest and be traveling to IL for abortion care
    • Those eligible live in IL, IN, IO, KS, MI, MN, MS, NE, ND, OH, SD, WI
  • Support type:
    • Practical support  - hotel/lodging, transportation, childcare, food, medication
    • Can book bus, train, plane and reimburse gas money (includes rides to and from train stations/airports)
    • Lodging hosts are available for overnight stays

Hoosier Abortion Fund

    • Priority for those at least 10 weeks pregnant
    • Funding line opens each week until available funds run out, then re-opens the following week
