If you are seeking free birth control or other services, we encourage you to apply for the Family Planning Benefit Program (FPBP). FPBP is a New York State Medicaid program that provides family planning benefits to women, men, and young people over age 10 with family incomes up to 200% of the poverty level to prevent unintended pregnancies. For those who are eligible, FPBP pays the cost of birth control, STI testing, PAP tests, pregnancy tests, and gynecological exams. There are no co-payments, monthly payments, or deductibles.  Again, as per state law regarding minor’s rights to access sexual and reproductive health services, we are able to provide certain services without requiring your parents’ permission.
