Thursday, December 1 is World AIDS Day, and now is a critical moment in the fight against HIV/AIDS. To commemorate World AIDS Day, Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic (PPHP) is offering free HIV testing on Thursday, December 1 at its health centers in Mount Vernon, New Rochelle, White Plains, Yonkers, Spring Valley, Huntington, Patchogue, Riverhead, Smithtown, and West Islip.

PPHP’s mobile education and testing van, SmartWheels, will be offering free HIV tests at Monroe College in New Rochelle, the Hope Center in Mount Vernon, and SUNY Stony Brook University.

Walk-ins are welcome at all health centers, or you can call (800) 230-PLAN or visit www.pphp.org to schedule an appointment.

Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic is a leading educator and provider of HIV testing in Suffolk, Westchester, Rockland, and Putnam Counties. Last year, PPHP provided 12,225 rapid HIV tests to women, men, and young people at its health centers and two SmartWheels vans.
