Reina Schiffrin, Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic’s President/CEO is retiring effective January 25, 2017. Reina joined PPHP in 1998 as the Chief Operating Officer and was appointed President and CEO in 2002.

“It has been my honor and pleasure to have led PPHP over the past 15 years working with a dedicated staff and hundreds of committed volunteers,” said Reina Schiffrin. “The support for PPHP’s mission from our community has been extraordinary. I am confident PPHP will rise to the challenges ahead and continue to provide essential health care services and education programs.”

"The entire Planned Parenthood family is grateful to Reina for her years of leadership,” said Cecile Richards, President of Planned Parenthood Federation of America. “During her many years at Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic, Reina worked to advance access to health care for New Yorkers and fought to protect their sexual and reproductive health and rights. Women, men and young people in New York are living healthier and better lives as a result of Reina's leadership."

As a result of her dedication and hard work, our affiliate is strong and ready to meet the challenges of the rapidly changing health care environment in which we operate.”

Vince Russell, PPHP’s Chief Operating Officer, will serve as the interim President/CEO. Vince joined PPHP in August 2015 as the Chief Operating Officer.
